Frequently Ask Questions.

Thinking about bringing your program to The Forum? Explore key details about hosting workshops, classes, and collaborative experiences in our venue.

What are the different ways I can use The Forum?

The Forum is built around four core pathways:

Host an Event – bring people together for a celebration, fundraiser, team experience, or unforgettable gathering.

Run a Program – lead your workshop, training, or series in a space designed for connection and impact.

Perform or Create – rehearse, develop new work, or step into one of our productions.

Play & Explore – drop into Open Play and all-ages experiences to move, train, and rediscover joy.

What is The Forum?

The Forum is an immersive creative venue in Red Deer designed for events, performances, programs, and play. It’s a flexible, movement-first space where artists, facilitators, organizations, and the community come to create experiences that are felt, not just attended.

How is The Forum different from a gym or a traditional venue?

Before 2020, The Forum operated primarily as a movement gym. Today, we focus on collaboration – supporting facilitators, hosting events, producing original experiences, and offering Open Play. Instead of everything being run by us, the space is now a platform for many creators and communities to bring their work to life.

What are the different ways I can use the space?

There are four main pathways:
Host an Event
Run a Program
Perform or Create
Play & Explore (Open Play and community experiences)

How do I get started?
